Very doable with the car on jack stands. Took me about 3 hours. Get the car as high as you possibly can. The more room you can give yourself, the better. Getting the spring clip out on the passanger side was a bitch! You'll need someone to help move the tranny toward the drivers side before the pin will come out. Getting the spring clips out took about 45 minuites. Once you get the stock shifter out, the MGW goes in easy. This shifter rocks! The shifts are rock solid and the throw is perfect! If it were any shorter, it would feel weird. My compliments to George and MGW for bringing us such sweet shifter. Now...TIME TO GO DRIVIN!
