The fitting you removed from your high pressure AC line is the connection for the high pressure cutout When you unscrewed the fitting it should of automatically resealed itself If you were very slow when removing it you would of lost a lot of refrigerant. ( lot of hissing for the entire time)
If as you said it hissed for only a second you should be fine
