reason being, swapping directly from dino oil to blend or full synth, you dont always get all the old oil out and they dont mix well.
+1, I use Royal Purple also in my rear diff. and man. trans. and is one of the best products on the market. Also make sure you use a quality filter as others have mentioned, I always use the KnN oil filters. ")
