Brought mine to the dealer yesterday to have the SDM reprogrammed, they said it wouldn't take long so I waited while they did it. An hour later they told me that while they were running the program to update the SDM the link to GM was lost and so was all the information, not only to the SDM but to all the other modules as well. I don't know how many different modules the Camaro has but it didn't sound good.

They eventually got the other modules working but couldn't reprogram the SDM. They tried to get a new SDM module but there aren't any available in the area so now I'm going to be in a rental car for a few days while they work with GM Tech reps to solve the problem.

You've go to love modern technology. The car gets grounded because of a lost computer link to update an air bag system.
