Well actually I have mine connected to the battery in the trunk. I have the battery tender cord with the ring lugs connected to the battery terminals and have a slit in one of the cap/plugs in the trunk. The cord reaches just under the trunk floor and hangs out, there is a cap on that.
When I back into the garage the battery tender is already plugged in the wall and all I do is connect the tender cord to the cord under the car.
My truck is connected under the hood and I leave the cord outside the grill on that. Personal preferance on how you do it.
