Airbags giveth, and cell phones taketh away ...
I honest believe there are more accidents per 1000 cars today than there were 40 years ago. The enhanced safety equipment of today just reduces the body count, so they claim safety has improved. There are no statistics on crashes or injury accidents, just deaths.
