Not exactly...you could run your car in 4th gear instead of shifting to 5th and 6th at these speeds....I guarantee you will see an improvement in the feel of performance!....LOL. Just pulling your chain, MistyBlu.
However:
To make the diagnosis more plausible, I would reset the average speed indicator at each change in mode. That way, you can determine what the traffic density and your average speed for the trip might have had on the fuel mileage. If the mileage is identical both ways (assuming it is), you could also reset your lapse time calculator....now we're getting scientific evidence!
