I felt the exact same way when I got my 2SS/RS. What I ended up doing to get a more enjoyable audio was to unplug the centre speaker to get Stereo effect and added two 10" sub in the truck. It's now much better and can live with it. Enjoy the ZL1, I am trading mine in for one in the spring.
