The 500 Festival Committee Members get to drive them through May to help promote the race. Then they are typically sold to dealers as "used" cars to resell. Some will have very few miles on them and others will have several thousand miles.
These "should" not go for as much as they are not Pace Car Replicas and not a Z4Z Pace Car Package. Window stickers I saw did not have any markups from factory for the graphics. Aside from the decals these are just regular white SS's. Nothing special was done to the interior or anywhere else. Does not mean the dealer won't mark them up or command a premium though..
