So when would the C7 supposedly come out anyway? The C6 has only been out for 3 model years not counting the 2008 model year.

Corvette generations usually last quite a long time. The C1, C3, and C4 all had runs of 10 years or more.

The C5 even lasted 8 years from 1997-2004.

If the C6 has an eight year run from 2005-2012, I wouldn't be too surprised if a base vette in 2013 has 500hp.
