I'll be driving my 2013 ZL1 vert not exactly daily, but on nice days. Never in the snow and unlikely in the rain. Nice days in KY can be cold days, and my car barn is nice but unheated. I'll never likely track the car. So is there any good reason that I shouldn't consider finding the best all-season performance tire I can, put them on for good, and sell my factory tires to one of my C5 trackers at a good price?

Based on the above, you don't have a need for A/S tires. You wont be driving in any conditions that would make them useful and your summer traction and handling will get worse.
