No space for engine bay mount parallel twins unless you don't mind cutting and moving everything in the engine bay. Even the ECU was moved in the SEMA twin turbo V6 Camaro prototype.
But to answer the OP's question, a wide variety of turbos can be used for twins, it all depends on how and when you want to feel the power.
