One would have to beg the following question then.
What is the dB reading on a stock SS with NPP exhaust at WOT?? To rephrase it differently, how close are we to that 93dB limit out of the box with the NPP?
If I was to take an educated guess here, I would say there is no way in hell my (still) stock 1LE with NPP exhaust, is anywhere near 93dB.
I've had more people tell me it sounds quieter then they would of thought...and I don't think it was meant as compliment either.
Plenty of cars out there that are louder out of the box imho.
