^Best of both worlds? Not a bad idea.
Unfortunately I've heard the same thing. The LS7 is not long for this world. But the LSA and LS9 are perfect candidates for powering new camaros and Corvettes. 550 hp with a nominal weight gain? Like maybe 50 pounds, if that... Any weight gain sucks, but seriously.. another 50 horses and 80 lb-ft. That extra torque will offset that no problem.
