Tip for washer relocate filler cap placement
Hey guys,
Installed the APEX scoop and relocater kit this weekend. Just a tip for anyone looking where to place the filler cap for the washer fluid kit. I did not want to drill into my CAI housing, and rather than fabricate a different bracket piece, I found zip ties to work just fine. I've driven with this setup for about 150 miles over the weekend and there was no issues with it moving around. It also sits low enough that you don't have to worry about it touching the inside of the hood (I tried the chalk/baby powder test).
You'll notice I also put a second zip tie to the side; this was to be extra safe and keep some pull on the piece so that the cap would never move sideways and touch the MAF sensor on the other side.
