Well i had it tuned @ newtech the first time and i was running lean at a little over 13, we werent sure why it spiked at 5k rpms, but it might have been due to the cog drive??? Mike @ GDP started dropping. second time was 12.5 and amazingly there was no detonation. dropped it down to 11.5 to make it safe and still retained most of the power i was looking for. the 586/585 pull was with heat soak (probably 4th or 5th pull). Mike was really informative and let me know what he was doing. I actually understand whats going on now with the tune! My last tune @ Newtech was 561/515. I was hoping for 600+hp, but i picked up a TON OF TORQUE instead.....and still pretty safe. no clue what kind of boost im running, but im installing my gauges in a couple weeks.
Guess i have no choice but to go with meth if i want to hit 600!
