I think we are SOL when it comes to insurance while racing at a track. The old saying "Gotta pay to Play" pretty much applies. What really sucks is that we are pretty much safe enough drivers (from what I saw last summer at Bandimere and High Plains), but when that 18 yr old in the ricer loses it and comes across the track into your lane and wipes you out, there is no recourse to get them to pay for your damage. It says that right on the form you sign when you pay to race. You are responsible for your own damage, no matter who causes it.
