You will get different opinions here too. With that said, I would change the oil once a year. Just check oil level regularly. The old "3 months or 3,000 miles" rule really only applies to old cars on conventional oil and loose tolerance engines. Modern engines with modern synthetic oils have much longer maintenance intervals.
