There is no problem with you running your car just the way it is. All you need is a helmet. This is just a track day not a race, so when you go to pass someone you have to wait for them to put there hand up and wave you by. That way nothing happens. You are good to go the way you are. It is a lot of fun because by the end of the day you get to know what your car can do so much better.
