I'm sure the clutch is plenty strong enough to hold up. GM is not going to build a great car like this and have a weak cutch that needs to be replaced under the 100,000 mile drive train warranty.

As long as you don't "slip" the clutch all the time it should hold up fine. If you're going to drag race every day you may need to replace it sooner. In that case it may or may not be covered. I'm sure the warranty is "conditional" and the service tech can tell if it failed from abuse. Otherwise, I would not be worried.
