Just got back from a week-long trip to the PRK (Peoples' Republik of Kalifornia): 3000 miles, 3000 photographs (I'm editing them now to put on my website, some are here already
http://www.chevyasylum.com/cruisin/c...3/Welcome.html ) and 3 million dead bugs on the front of the car. I'm about to go put a lawn sprinkler on to soften 'em so I can clean 'em off.
I was able to get the car close enough to airborne at the same place I got most of the bugs (and one rabbit), the northern tip of the Mojave desert. There were enough dips in the road (and their corresponding rises) so that I could get wheelspin in 6th as I crested the rise. I was running between 100 and 120. Then I realized I didn't have my seat belt on and decided that it was kinda silly to be doing that. But it was a pretty nice rush.
