If thats actually what he said avoid that place at all costs.... as stated, wax does leave a 'film' on your car... its basically a sacrificial layer to protect (and some degree enhance) the paint once its been corrected.
Might just be a genius marketing plan... the guy charges you to correct the paint, but doesn't do anything to protect it so you have to come back right away to have it fixed again. LOL
