Do what I did. Bookmark every major dealer in the area around the new owner's location as well as CarMax and Autotrader and conduct a weekly search. That's how I found my old car. The dealer initially had it listed with the incorrect interior and exterior colors but the mileage was low and it piqued my interest. Looking at the VIN and checking the CarFax report put all the pieces into place for me. Have your VIN handy and do a weekly search. Patience can and does pay off, if one is lucky enough.
