You have to drop the driveshaft to get to them and remove a plate, but further up the driveshaft you can "cross" the cables which puts more tension on them and makes plenty of room to clear the wheels.

By Cross them I mean, make the right rear go to the left rear and vice versa and that reduces the amount of slack in the lines plenty.
