From what I experienced during my build, I would expect a ZL1 header design that wouldn't require belly pan trimming would have to be a shorty style with an elbow pipe between the collector flange and the CAT.
The issue with any long tube design is fitting a collector in the narrow space that exists between the belly pan and upper heat shielding.
