On 08-22-2009 you stated:

"my rjt shows bad swirls... and ive only hand washed it with a powerwasher, microfiber towels (wash and dry) and have waxed it... gonna buy swirl remover and power buff it"

Is your car under 3 months old? I think the powerwasher may have created the swirl marks on your car.

I had an interesting discussion with a guy experienced in painting car and he said that one should wait about 3 months to allow a new paint job to fully cure before apply wax of any kind.

In fact he suggested only using cold water and a sponge with no soap for that time period and definitely do not let the dealer wax your car before you get it.

He showed me swirl marks on his truck where he waxed it after 1 1/2 months on a new paint job.

I don't know how true any of this is but to be safe I'm going to wait the 3 months before waxing.
