I have had my car now for about 2 weeks. The difference in color between the metal and plastic is really bugging the hell out of me. I thought I would be able to let it go but it seems to get worse everyday. I was looking at it yesterday and noticed it looked a little "blotchy" on the left side. After a closer look, I got even more depressed. The paint does not look even. It looks like there are black blotches in the paint, almost like there is not enough paint on there.

My question: has anyone requested to their dealer that they re-paint the front plastic? If so, did they do it? I am seriously thinking about asking this to be done under warranty. I know, I know... someone is going to say "it's not the paint retard, it's the light." Please hold your comment because I don't believe it.
