I don't think it voids the warranty. In my exsperience, Meineke won't do any custom exhaust work, nor will they work on a vehicle that has a custom exhaust. As for leagality, You have to check local regulations. Most states the laws stipulate how loud the vehicle can be, not what equipment you can use, but that may be different for where you are.
