Lower the pressure in your rear tires to about 25 psi and raise pressure in your front tires to about 42 psi. Don't drop the clutch, just release quickly and roll into the throttle at the same time. If you the tires spinning hard (a little is good) then you are hitting the throttle too hard. If it bogs down you are not rolling into it fast enough.

Another thing that will make it a little more even is if you drop some weight (off the car). Take the rear seat back and bottom out as well as the passanger seat. Take the jack and anything else in the trunk out (except the inflater; you'll need that for the trip home). You have the power to cut 1.9 60' you just need the traction. If you are getting wheel hop, then get you some trailing arms and a bigger rear sway bar.
