Here is the advice I received from the above member...

The sunshade has steel ribs on the top of the shade going side car, during install of the sunroof the shade gets pushed up. This causes the shade tabs to ride high and the force to move the shade goes down.
All you have to do is pull down on the front edge, right at the handle. Only pull down a little then check the force it takes to move it. By pulling down what you are doing is putting more force on the shade to trim welt. I would check force first then start pulling down little by little till you get the force you want. If you’re not too sure on how to do this I can send you pictures showing at what point to pull.
DO NOT PULL DOWN HARD OR YOU WILL BE BUYING A NEW SHADE.

I have not tried this yet, and if I can not get it to work, I will defintely be taking him up on getting some pics, but it seems a straight forward thing to try.
