First of all you definitely want to run in S mode not tap shift. Also a few other tips would be lower the tire pressure to 25-30psi in the rear tire. Also make sure you drive around the water box and if you have stock tires a burnout is not really necessary. Then turn traction control off and then when you are finally staged up hold the brake rev up to about 2200rpm ( the v6 camaros lanuch best between 2k-3k rpm) and then then when you see the third yellow light just let her rip.
