No studs, just glue. Use the hairdryer on high heat full blower power. Forget the fishing line or dental floss. Gently pry up just a hair then direct the heat for a minute right where you are starting to lift and slowly pull up with the heat hitting the gap. As you pull up slowly you will see the adhesive lift right off the car. If you pull too fast you will leave some of the adhesive on the car and then you waste time cleaning it up afterwards. Slowly with heat and zero adhesive is left behind. Took about 15 minutes to do the camaro letters on both sides. The rear bowtie took 3 minutes tops. Then just a dozen coats of wax and you're all set.

I replaced it with the billet black aluminum bowtie, peel off the paper and stick in place. If you want it to be placed exactly where the original one was, I recommend using painters tape. Four small pieces, two inches long or so for each piece and place them around the left/right/top/bottom edges. Then remove the gold one like above and now you have your tape markers exactly right to align the replacement.
