I believe I know what to do.

Paint the rest of the lower grill black, and go ahead with the painting of the hood spears to match the grill.

I too had a concern that it just didn't 'work' together. But to see it in person is another thing. Plus, once I get the spears done, it will mesh nicely.

I may paint the orange part around the front turn lights to black. Not sure. Need photoshop.
