That actually happened to a friend of mine when I was in the car....long time ago.

He had just had a monster motor installed in his 78 camaro and lit up the back tires at a stop sign....massive burnout then POP, Klunk and scrape.....we left the diff 20 feet behind and drive shaft went rolling to the curb.......I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants.
...Then I realized we had pound of stinky african thai in the car...so I had to shove it down my pants and run down the street before the cops showed up....college was like that.

I miss college.
