GM has built more than 50. So I would just follow the manual.
If you have money and can build engines they your probably not worried about getting 200,000 + on it. Sure if your building race cars you break em in hard cause your just gonna tear it down sooner in a shop or blow it up.
But production cars that you want 30 years of use before a rebuild then you baby it.
