Just to be fair and honest here in answer to the question about crash test ratings....The Camaro has
NOT been given crash test data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
It
MEETS all all saftey standards mandated by the Federal and state governments.
GM does it own safety crash tests and expects the Camaro to receive the highest ratings from these two agencies.
Its weight may be a consideration in some regard in certain types of crashes.
But again, there are
NO crash test ratings released yet by either of the above agencies.
