I have the Bigflow Exhaust 1 7/8 LTs and Cats. This setup requires that you cut the stock exhaust to install.

So I still have the stock catback. It is a nice balance of quiet at low speeds and yet at higher RPMs it gets pretty loud.

But the as it gets louder the noise is sort of a high pitched slapping sound, not all that appealing.

So to fix that I am thinking of an axle back setup to replace the stock mufflers. It will also improve the looks and shed a few pounds. All good.

I would like to keep it quiet if possible at low speeds and since I take long trips in the car I want to avoid the dreaded drone.

I do not want to get a full cat back since I would have to cut it to install.

Would a Flowmaster Hush Power Axle Back be my best bet from a price and sound perspective?
