Just joined this forum after visiting this website for many years now. Just purchased my 2014 Camaro 2SS/1LE about four months ago in Houston, TX and I gotta say, I am loving my ride. It's my first 5th Gen. Camaro, however, I am a previous owner of the LS platform with a '99 Pontiac Trans AM WS6 (black of course!!!). I purchased the 1LE for two reasons; (1) IMO, they are the best looking Camaros on the road, aside from the ZL1 (2) I wanted to mod it myself to beyond what the ZL1 is because it is cheaper to do so on the current platform it is built to. Below are some pics of my ride, along with the mods I've done and what my pals at Lethal Racing here in Lafayette, LA are doing for me...hope you enjoy and certainly let me know what you think!

My mods:
Removed the vinyl wrap on my hood (due to peeling)
Added Carbon Fiber emblem overlays on my bow ties
Installed EmblemPros "Supercharged 1LE" emblems
Installed Hurst Short Throw Shifter (with emblems on the fenders)
Removed the DPP Exhaust/Mufflers
Tinted the windows with Suntek 5% LT
Installed a K&N 63 Series FIPK CAI
Diablosport Intune-1000 tuner (about to be removed/sold)

Lethal Racing mods:
Whipple 2.9L Supercharger w/13psi boost pulley kit
Lethal Racing Custom Cam
Upgraded Cylinder Head Internals
Kooks 1 7/8" SS Long Tube Headers w/ Cats deleted
112mm Throttle Body
Higher Volumn Fuel Injectors
Higher Volumn Fuel Pump
MSD Fuel Pump Booster
Dyno Tuned
THAT IS ONE BAD ASS LOOKING MO FO!!!! SUCH A SINISTER LOOKING BEAST, BLACK IS THE ONLY COLOR FOR THAT CAR IMO!!! CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY 15' BLACK 1LE 1SS, RECAROS, NPP, REAR VISION, NAVI & BOSTON.

Mods will be similar with 1 7/8 stepped LT's, Cam tbd.., Tune, then will break motor in a little before adding FI. "Might" go with a 1.9 TVS because I have read that guys with LSA's are getting more from the 1.9 TVS on stock cubes and pump than with switching out with the 2.3 & E-85..... I know, makes no sense, but the time slips don't lie, look up August 2013 article of GM High Tech Performance Will Dugas's CTS-V and see his simple build doing 9.76 @ 142 on a stock ported & pullied 1.9 LSA with worked WCCH stock heads, DP-D6 cam, Nick Williams 102 TB, 850cc inj, & of course the cherry of a mild 100 shot on 93 pump!!

But hell, I might just send the heads to WCCH and cam it with all supporting bolt ons and just see how she runs, I should see 500+ rwhp with that set up and it should be fun to drive just like that!!! Maybe I'll have a 150 shot on tap with remote bottle opener for that occasional C6Z on the freeway. I have had FI cars with manuals making over 750+rwhp and they are just a complete handful and very difficult to get power down at those levels and are not very fun to drive, TRUST ME, I had more fun in my all motor NA 6-speed 530 rwhp LQ9 4th gen than I ever did with any of my 700+ rwhp FI manual cars, they were great for rolling burnouts @ 75 mph to 140 mph, but suck for racing, an auto will eat a manuals lunch @ those power levels
