I'd recommend the suspension upgrade Chase mentioned. A lot of people upgrade hp first. That's ok, but I think upgrading the suspension is better in your price range and it won't void your power train warranty.
Drop springs and sway bars make your car handle better on the twisties and make it look better too! Win win.
