Why, my clutch grabs hard and actually seemed to be easier on the car! At 3500 the only way it would work is slip the hell out of the clutch, personally I think that's going to kill the clutch allot faster! Good luck but sorry 2500-3000 is not going to get you anywhere, not in this car! You want good times you have to run them hard, that's all there is too it. If your blown making allot of power then lower rpms might work, but never gonna happen with a cammed car. The gear should help with launch rpms, try 4k and work your way up, trust me on this! If you can't handle trying this then don't expect your times to drop.
