according to my research from edmunds, "advertising fees" should be right in the GM invoice and not "extra" fees tacked on by the dealer.
From the way hurd was doing it, they were simply tacked on.
I'm not someone who thinks dealers shouldn't make profit, that's why they're in the business. That said, I'm going to get the best deal possible and the thought that a buyer has to pay the advertising fee for a company seems nuts to me, said company pays for advertising to get business.
We don't go to wal-mart, spend $1000 on a new tv then another 200 because they advertised a sale for that model tv.
