I scrubbed off the 3 million dead bugs that I'd picked up between the Mojave Desert and Baker, Ca on the way home from a week-long trip: 3000 miles, 3000 photos in addition to the bugs. It was a great trip and it looks like I'll be making another one (toward the right coast, this time) next month not long after the Rat Fink Reunion at the end of May where I'll have some pinstriping done.
I'll be going to the East Coast Timing Association' June Event at Wilmington, Oh with the Target 550 Land Speed Racing team (they let me run their website and do computer stuff for 'em.):

My photos from the automotive museums, etc are here:

I may also race the Camaro at Wilmington. I gotta make some phone calls and see how "etched in stone" that trip is.
I ordered Afterburner taillights, Oracle side marker lights and diamond plate mats. I've gotta get off my dead butt and install the Heritage grill and SS emblem, short-throw shifter and finish installing the footwell lighting kit.
Photo is of my baby in the Virgin River Gorge, at one time the most expensive "per mile" stretch of highway in the US...maybe it still is.
I'm really, REALLY enjoying that car. More fun than any goofy old fart otta be allowed to have.
