I have been waiting for months for the replica wheel companies to tell me they are producing a 18" ZL1 replica wheel for drag racing. Most say they are considering it or it's in the works. I am not confident it is going to happen anytime soon so I am moving on. I want a wheel I can use on the street as well as drag race. I have been told Weld 17"x10" RT-S fit. Weld says I have to change lower control arms. Others on this forum say they fit without modification on a ZL1. I want to know is there any reason why I cannot order a 17x11? (Our factory wheel is 20x11) Would there be any significant performance benefits to a 11" wide if I can make it fit? I plan to run a M&H 325 45 17 drag radial either way.
