Hurst short throw shifter
When I ordered my Camaro there was a GM guy giving a presentation on the new pick up trucks. He came out of the meeting briefly to meet me. I drilled him w/ questions. He told me not to order the Hurst shifter if I wanted the car sooner.
He said so many people ordered the short throw shifter, that "GM decided to bring that in house" and they needed to gear up in house production. So it would hold up production of the car. If I really wanted it have dealer put it on later.
