If you get some dusting from say using SHR, what do you knock that down with before going to FMP?
This is a common problem that folks sometimes run into. Dusting only happens when you do a couple of things.
  • Using too much product.
  • Using dirty pads.
  • Working on a car with too hot of a surface.
  • Working the product too fast.

If a pad starts to create dust, you should switch to the "slow cut" technique in order to get the pad back in shape. The misting of the pad will knock down that problem. Also, slowing down the OPM's will help drastically. If you are creating dust, you are not doing much correction to the paint. We all want to see the fruits of our labor but sometimes, it's a slow process.
