2010 Camaro SS manual daily driver

I live in Northern Illinois.

Our winters are pretty mild with occasionally a big snow storm. Our streets get cleared pretty quickly also.

I work 14 days a month and drive only 2 miles to work.

My question; If I get a set of the best snow tires from Tirerack with 17-18" wheels will I go through snow? With the traction control I figure it would be ok. Plus we only get a couple decent snow falls each year. I could take a personal day if its really bad.

I don't have room for another car besides the Camaro SS.

What suggestions on tires and sizes. Such as Dunlop M3/D3, etc.

Thankyou very much ahead of time.

I really want this car and this is my only real concern.
