Check out Deke736 journal/thread on this matter. I think it's titled "key stuck in the ignition" or something like that, anyway he changed the power source to an ignition source. Brake lights still work and everything without the key, but for turn signals and show mode the key has to be in acc/on. So there's no drain on the battery when the car is parked. He could park it for months, no power is being drained whatsoever. If you ever leave it for several days/weeks this is the BEST Solution!
