very interesting that i found this thread. I too just purchased a 1LE. I got it last week. Although I have driven manual my whole life. I have never driven anything else. But I too have this horrible clutch smell. I came on here to find out if anyone was having this problem. So I am gathering this is a normal smell for the first 1000 miles or so?! this is great news if this is true. I was getting worried sick because i know its not me and getting on the car for 1 hard pull wouldn't mess up the car. I have 380 miles on it and prob will take a ton to burn out the clutch. So everything says this is a normal smell on the v8s? or 1LEs at least??
