well i think it all depends on wether you are going to update you system anytime soon as far as a 2ohm speaker and amp.
If you later upgrade to another 2ohm amp in a box i dont think you could run both in parrell without getting a diff amp. If you do 2- 4ohm subs and wire they in parell it will give to 2ohm load.
Maybe someone else can chime in but i think it how long before u upgrade. I had a 10 inch and it didnt do that much
I mean your looking at about prob $300 shipped for that 1- 12inch. I paid $180 shipped for 2- 12inch MTX VT subs and $180 for a 1000 watt mtx amp
