Just wanted to post up a reminder about the cruise this Sunday. It's going to be a beautiful day. Here's the info again.
We are meeting at Home Depot in Mahwah (465 Route 17 N) at 10:30 am and departing at 11:00 am.
Quick overview of plan:
· 2 Hour scenic route getting there
· Pictures, break, and hanging out for a bit at High Point Monument
· We will be taking Route 23 straight back (1 hour trip back to Bergen County), but you can veer off of 23 at any time to take the shortest way back home for you.
· After leaving High Point, there are a number of places to stop and eat not far down 23 (Friendlys, Diner, Wendys, Arbys, etc.) We can discuss at High Point where we want to stop for food on the way back.
We are doing the entire 2 hour trip there without stopping so before you get to the Home Depot:
· Please make sure you have a full tank of gas.
· I’d suggest not being on an empty stomach since we won’t be stopping to eat until after we leave High Point.
